These brownies use avocado for their moistness. Really delicious!
1 small Haas avocado, very ripe and mashed well
1/3 cup chocolate chips, melted
2/3 cup granulated sugar
2 tablespoons nondairy milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup flour
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder, dark preferably
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F and oil a 9 inch square pan.
Combine the avocado, sugar, melted chocolate, milk and vanilla and mix well.
Combine the dry ingredients in another bowl and then mix into the wet mixture.
Press the mixture into the pan.
Bake 25 minutes.
